Microsoft Surface Dock V2 for Surface Pro / Laptop / Laptop Studio /Surface Go /Surface Book

After trying other products first with continued lagging using pen-drives, mouse, HDMI cable, etc I'm now actually able to work off my MS Surface. I have been using it for a few weeks now. I appreciate that it's all streamlined etc but not having enough ports is a true pain. It concerns me that I have to have the power plugged into the laptop 24/7 - therefore it's charging 100% all the time but I'm hoping this doesn't affect the battery life... I am assured it doesn't. PB Tech were awesome at working out the problem(s) and I'm very grateful for the help. A high price, but glad I got it (Surface pro 7).
Pretty chunky, but I’d like it to have a little heft considering I wont be carrying it around/it sits on my desk. Looks nice. Long cables. All the others look a bit flimsy in comparison.
I would have liked it to have a HDMI port instead of just USB-C, as they still seem to be the predominant screen connector ‘in the wild’. Another USB port would have been nice too. No issues otherwise. A high price, but glad I got it (Surface pro 7).

Another MS Product that is overly priced, and is standard on most new lap tops rather than being an extra. Also need the more expensive MS Adapters to also make it work.
Necessary if you want 4K from your MS Surface.

Very light, but stable enough to not move around on my table. Stays cool under full working capabilities (2 monitors, 4 USBs and an eth cable), could have bigger output for USB-C charging, but I won't steal any stars because of it. Can be a nightmare to get dual monitors working using the dock, many posts on Microsoft forums of users with same issues. We have two Surface 2 Laptops and 2 Surface 2 docks, both have issues displaying both external monitors. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, sometimes one is blank sometimes the other is blank sometimes both are blank, disconnect and reconnect dock gives a different result most times. Using USB-C to HDMI cables from here as well. I've had to setup one user with one monitor to the Laptop and one to the Dock and you still have to disconnect/reconnect every time after boot.
