There's only way you can squeeze 1Gbps from these: connect two computers to the same adapter, in this case it would work as a switch and speed between computers will be 1Gbps as promised.

The AC pass-through will give 300Mbps at most and only if you connect adapters literally to the same circuit (e.g. into the same 4 outlets power point, or power board). As mentioned in comments they are too bulky and there's no chance to squeeze another plug next to the adapter into 2 outlets power point. Realistically in a pretty new house you can get about 250Mbps, plugging one of the adapters into the power board or extender will reduce speed by 15-20 Mbps. I used iperf3 to test speed.
Otherwise it's pretty good technology, super easy installation, stable, not affected by interference from neighbors. I would have given it 5 stars if the box had no false promises.

I have gigabyte fibre and got this hopeing I would get faster speeds than my wifi but sadly I was only getting 100mb at the most which is a lot slower. Tried it with better ethernet cables that it came with. Tried it in different locations around the house which made no difference. The house is only 15 years old so should have good wiring in it.

After going through all the reviews of the different power-line products, i decided to choose this kit as it seemed to have the best speed. The internet connection where i am is 300 down and 100 up, This power-line adapter seems to easily achieve these speeds without breaking a sweat. The main reason i got this was due to high latency over wifi whilst gaming, and this made a great improvement.

I bought a smart TV and cancelled Sky so I was running everything off the Ultra Fast Broadband. The TV would regularly drop out at last once every evening, and and then I there was an error saying the internet was "unstable". There are a number of users in the house but the broadband service should have coped - in theory. It usually meant rebooting everything,
It was recommended that I but the Powerline kit to help with this problem, and it has. I have never had the TV drop out since.
The only problem is I had to buy two as they came in a box of two but one has proven sufficient.

Fantastic product, works exactly as advertised, very high speeds. However you can only buy them in packs of 2. The name "Starter Kit" sort of implies you could buy extension packs of just one, but nope, only starter kits. Would be perfect if you could get ods numbers of them. The reviews were right, plug-in and go. Unpacked them, connected both to a multi-board, paired them and then put them where I wanted them. Worked first time with good speeds. So my parents have had fibre installed and the installer put the ONT in a stupid spot in the far coner of the house (long story) the probleming there is that the wifi wouldn't cover the house from that location. They had a smart TV in that corner however so I needed to run 2 network connections from there to where I wanted to have the Modem for best wifi. I was prepared to go under the house and run cables but then remembered how good the powerline adapter worked in their house in the past.

This AV2000 unit provided seperate 1Gb connections from the ONT and Smart TV to the Modem. Worked first time, SUPER simple to setup and connect. And because Powerline is a standard the existing AV1000 unit could join the network.

in short, the Powerline product provide a truely simple and effective way to get you a hardline network connection without needing to run any wires.

For my parents house, these have been excellent purchases.
