Works great, easy to setup. Had to mount 4.5kg monitor and 3kg laptop without any problems. Really sturdy and I have no qualms putting expensive gear on this. Just keep in mind that you need to properly adjust the +/- screw to counterbalance the weight of the monitor/laptop. I had to use the grommet mounting for more stability.

Gives more flexibility since you can change the height, position, angle and orientation on the fly. You can use while sitting/standing or if you need to do presentation, you'll be ready in a snap.

Just to be clear, this is a Loctek Double monitor arm which comes with a separate Laptop Stand. So you can easily convert one arm to a laptop stage. Regardless of the confusing instructional video, it's really easy to set up. Works really good and it makes a really satisfying Gas hydraulic sound when you move the monitors up and down.

When I don't have the laptop I can easily fold the spare arm away and relocate the monitor to the middle with ease.

Assembly was not complex, but took some time. Getting everything just right also took time which was to be expected.

The mounting pole secured very well, and came with a lot of mounting options.
