Crucial BX500 500GB 2.5" Internal SSD

I picked this over the MX, considering that once Xbox games are installed, there’s not a lot of writing to disk beyond game saves. It took maybe 20 minutes install, and maybe 10 at most to reinstall the Xbox OS from a recovery USB stick. My games load so much faster now, it’s like having a new console without buying a Series X. This is my 4th crucial SSD I've bought for various Laptop and desktops. This one was for an upgrade from 250 to 500Gb for desktop C:\ drive. Cloning old drive was a breeze using DiskMagic (free). I have found Crucial's version to be quite slow. Must remember the difference between a laptop and desktop with multiple drives is the need to update BIOS with new drive name so the boot system knows what it is.. Laptops don't seem to need to does this because there is only one drive I suppose. I just use velcro to secure the SSD inside the cabinet because the SSD is so light. Bought this for an older pc and its great ! fits right in where the old HDD would be, no modifactions needed boots right up and no errors.Would definetley recomend this SSD especially for the price and quality definetley a noticable change when downlaoding and transfering files and an overall preformance increase !!!

I bought this a few days ago and it has been perfect. 1TB for this price is such a steal and it works great with good read and write speeds for me.
