Bought this for my office, and use it for background music during the work day. The sound is clear and good quality, allowing conversations and phone calls to happen without it being intrusive. Good speaker for the price that packs a decent punch for its size, easy Bluetooth connectivity. Plenty of sound for my needs, would recommend if your on a budget. Weighty construction, detailed & neutral sound and rock-solid, instant Bluetooth connection. Been using one for 6 months and it easily fills the living area with sound without sounding strained or muddy. The speaker has surprisingly good bass and not all boomy or overdone. However just today added a powered 8inch Warfedale subwoofer and that transformed the sound onto another level. Edifier just seems to be able to make very musical amplified speakers. I'm using it as the centre speaker for a 5.1 PC setup (RCA inputs). Nice unit but has a very noticeable squeal when the volume is set above about 50% with no audio playing.
