MSI MAG 650W Power Supply

Had to upgrade CPU and MB. Put in a new GPU so why not PSU. Better to have to much power and not need it than to need it and not have it. Will only draw what is needed. Future proof.

Purchased this recently for my new budget build and I'm really happy. Has x2 pcie 8 pins but they share the same cable so it's a little ugly being able to see both when plugging just 1 8 pin in. PSU runs well with my current setup. No issues what so ever. Runs how it should at a reasonable price.
Only downside is slightly stiff cables but not a big issue for me.

Some people seem to have a problem with the noise? Mine doesn't make any noise.

Stuck with a quality brand, that hit the 80+ gold level of specification. 7 year warranty isnt quite as much as some of the others however for the price it is just what I need. Happy to recommend. Perfect!! I have an All White set up and the black, cheap power supply is so good, I LOVE LOVE LOVEEE the cable bag, it fits all of the bags of screws, cables, etc. inside and it’s good for the price. Heaps of power running i5-14600K with 64GB RAM. So much headroom for overclocking and cranking up VM’s to get the most out of the CPU. Really impressed with all the optional cables and nice bag they come in. Easy modular plug and play set up. Only shortfall was the lack of instructions which I needed more info for around the way to use the 2x 8-pin cpu pci-e to a mobo with 1x 8-pin & 1x 4-pin. Found out after Googling for ages that in addition to using the 8-pin to 8-pin, it was safe to also plug in the second 8-pin but split the EPS cable and plug into the 4-pin mobo while leaving the other half of it hanging!
