So its basically a toss up in price per GB if you need the higher write endurance, or the outstanding value of the QVOs. Excellent bang for your buck. I did, however, have issues with setting it up with the instructions in the box. It asks you to download Samsung Magician, which I did, and it errored on 3 attempts to correctly format the SSD. I used the free and universally recommended Macrium Reflect program - problem solved quick and easy. At the time of purchase, PB Tech had the best local price, as they usually do. V Nand is clearly trash for writes. I got this as a drive for a couple of VM's in my server as my old 830 128G only had 14% life left. Moving the VM to this drive caused it to chug big styles. Down to 67MB/s write speed, bummer, but I shouldn't have been surprised.. It should come right once balanced and running for a while but this is the deal with V-Nand kids. Glacier city for sustained writes. At least it was cheap for 1T and Samsung has been super reliable for flash for me for years so at least it should be quality. V Nand is clearly trash for writes. We have a 4 YO Lenovo laptop. My son complained it took Mindcraft 10min to load. After upgrading the HHD to SSD, Mindcraft now loads in 1min.
