Purchased this as my old Macbook has dodge Wifi. Uses USB2.0 but is pretty fast none the less.

One thing to note - on MacOS you will need to download a driver to get it working. Not too hard to setup but the device won't even flash until the driver is installed.

Nice little cheap adapter and it’s Made in Taiwan, hard to find anything made in Taiwan these days.
Had to install driver on my surface pro and MacBook for it to work coz it’s very old tech adapter. Didn’t work for my MacBook because of lack of new driver, now the new driver has been updated by ASIX, so it’s working fine. This adapter is an absolute life saver. The wifi in my office can be very hit and miss and my new hp doesn't have an ethernet port. Luckily this little adapter does the trick perfectly. thank you. I got this thinking i could use it for Nintendo devices, turns out you need a usb3 version with a specific chipset.
